
Charlene Wilson MS, RDN, LD, CLT, CDCES
Charlene completed her Master’s degree in dietetics in 2019 at Georgia State University. Charlene also completed a Master’s degree in sport management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. As a former collegiate swimmer for South Carolina, she also has extensive experience as a swim coach and has worked with athletes at the collegiate level and club level, as well as having coached in the Gwinnett County Swim League for 10 years.
Since becoming a registered dietitian, she has worked in a variety of settings, such as helping college students at Georgia State University to assisting patients at an outpatient clinic, to now working in private practice. She has experience in many areas of nutrition including: bariatric nutrition, prediabetes, and other chronic conditions.
One area of particular interest is food sensitivities. As a certified LEAP therapist, Charlene provides nutrition counseling for client’s navigating the challenges of dealing with food sensitivity related health problems. Another area of interest is sports nutrition. As a former college swimmer and coach, she enjoys working with individuals trying to reach their athletic and fitness goals. Regardless of the health concern, she focuses on developing a personalized plan that works with her client’s lifestyle and building a relationship based on trust and respect.
