Amber Odom BS, RDN, LD

Amber Odom brings over 20 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Her passion and specialty is preventative and cardiovascular nutrition and weight management. She enjoys working with patients to modify their lifestyles with an individualized, balanced, and realistic approach for overall health and wellness. Amber loves to see the results her patients achieve.

She has extensive experience in nutrition counseling including over a decade of work at the world-renowned Cooper Clinic in Dallas, Texas. She specializes in weight management, heart disease, diabetes (including pre-diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes), bariatrics (pre- and post-surgery) and preventative health and wellness.

Amber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition from Texas Tech University in addition to earning a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Dietetics at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she completed an internship in nutrition. She was named “Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year” by the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Amber is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Weight Management and Diabetes Practice Groups. She enjoys running, cooking, and traveling with her husband. They also enjoy exploring hiking and biking trails, watching their daughter’s college basketball games, and son’s basketball, track, and cross-country events.
