Background

Isabella Porrazzo is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping individuals develop a healthy, sustainable, and flexible relationship with food. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with a concentration in Dietetics from Virginia Tech and her Master of Science in Nutrition from Georgia State University, where she also completed her dietetic internship through the Coordinated Program in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Isabella has experience working with patients across the majority of eating disorder levels of care, including residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. She specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating, while also working with patients interested in healthy and sustainable weight management, diabetes, hypertension, and general nutrition concerns. She works with both adults and pediatric patients, with a particular interest in supporting children and adolescents in developing a positive relationship with food and their bodies while ensuring their nutritional needs are appropriately supported during growth and development. For patients with diabetes, Isabella focuses on practical, individualized nutrition strategies that support blood sugar management while avoiding unnecessary restriction.

She is particularly passionate about helping patients navigate the overwhelming amount of nutrition information available today and enjoys separating nutrition facts from myths and misinformation. Isabella believes nutrition should be individualized and sustainable, and she works with patients to make informed choices without relying on rigid food rules or fear-based nutrition advice.

Isabella believes that everyone deserves to be met where they are, regardless of their current level of motivation or readiness for change. She works collaboratively with patients and values curiosity, encouraging them to ask questions and explore the nutrition beliefs they have developed throughout their lives. Whether someone is working toward eating disorder recovery, hoping to prevent disordered eating patterns while pursuing weight-related goals, supporting their child's nutrition and relationship with food, managing diabetes, or simply wanting to better understand how to nourish their body, Isabella provides compassionate, evidence-based guidance without judgment.

Her goal is to help patients feel more confident in their nutrition choices, challenge misinformation, and develop skills that support their well-being for the long term.
