How Does It Work?
Metabolic testing is the best and most accurate way to measure the amount of calories your body burns throughout the day. Knowing exactly what your body needs is the key to weight loss and leading a healthier lifestyle.
A metabolic test tells us how many calories your body burns at rest. Knowing what your “resting energy cost” is can help to determine how many calories you need per day for optimal weight management, energy, and performance. We use the state of the art technology called indirect calorimetry that measures your oxygen intake for about 10-15 minutes which can then determine your calorie utlization.

Metabolic Testing (stand alone appointment): $90.00
Add-on to an existing appointment: $60.00
Only available to local patients. Metabolic testing is only available for morning appointments.
